Finger Paints Palette of Petals (Spring 2011)

Vibrant turquoise creme

Bright turquoise creme, and while not terribly unique, I still really like this color, it's full of spring, but not pastel!

Opacity scale (1-5): 3

Use for Konad: So-so on lighter colors, not so great on darker colors

Finish: Creme, 2 coats

Springy green creme

Bordering on the line between being a pastel or being a bright, this springy green is something that I would use in nail art, but it's not likely to be something I wear as a base. Not a favorite in this collection, but it is a nice color.

Opacity scale (1-5): 3

Use for Konad: Not too bad on lighter colors, fairly decent, though not completely opaque on darker colors as well.

Finish: Creme, 2 coats

Pastel lilac creme

Definitely a pastel spring color, and not terribly unique, this color is pretty, but nothing extraordinary. One thing extraordinary about it, however is its opacity- this was fairly opaque in a single coat.

Opacity scale (1-5): 4

Use for Konad: Stamps fairly well on both darker and lighter colors, though it shows up much better on darker colors than light.

Finish: Creme, 1-2 coats, depending on how thickly you apply it

Rosey pinkish purple

This color hovers somewhere between a pink and a red-based purple- leaning very much to the pink side. It's a nice color, and I've already used it in some nail art.

Opacity scale (1-5): 3

Use for Konad: Stamps well on lighter colors, but not amazing on darker colors

Finish: Creme, 2-3 coats, depending on how thickly you apply it

Orange with golden shimmer

This is the only non-creme in this collection and though I LOVE cremes, this color is a welcome addition. This orange polish with a strong golden shimmer makes me think of the sun that's making all the flowers in the garden grow!

Opacity scale (1-5): 3

Use for Konad: Doesn't stamp terribly well on either dark or light colors, the shimmer is the only thing that shows up on darker colors. (despite the picture- damn the flash!)

Finish: Shimmer, 2-3 coats, depending on how thickly you apply it

Bright corally pink creme

This color is super fun, bright, happy...everything that Spring should be! I actually like this color, and might actually wear it as a full manicure (even though I NEVER wear pinks! lol) I also think this polish borders on looking like a jelly finish, but it's not quite there.

Opacity scale (1-5): 3

Use for Konad: Stamps so-so on lighter colors, but isn't really visible on darker colors.

Finish: Creme, 3 coats

This is a nice collection... not a lot of amazing and unique, but a lot of great colors that will look awesome on a lot of different skin tones. They all applied really nicely, and had a great level of opacity. In that respect, I was fairly impressed! My favorites of the collection are Carnation Creation, Dahlia My Number, and *GASP* Did You Ast-her Out?.  I know, I know... a pink?!  It's good stuff, promise.
