Deborah Lippmann Yellow Brick Road & Naked

Sheer yellow jelly

OK, lets not take into account that my nail lines suck, I don't have pretty smiles, please disregard that. This polish is, for lack of a better term, effing awesome. I'll admit, I was a tad skeptical when I first started applying (I'm not a fan of sheers due to terrible nail staining). With each sheer layer that built up, I loved this polish more and more. I love the squishy quality of it, and more, I adore the color. ADORE it. Such an amazing spring/summer color. According to the website, this is available April 22.

Opacity scale (1-5): 1.25

Use for Konad: Not a great stamping polish- too sheer.

Finish: Jelly, 4-5 coats, still fairly sheer.

Sheer nude

This is the nude I've been looking for my whole life! If I could make sweet love to this polish and have hundreds of little 'Naked' babies, I SO would. MULTIPLE times. This polish took a few coats, yes, Ill admit that, but in natural light gave my pale hands the perfect 'mannequin hand' color. I would buy this again and again. Deborah Lippmann, you're a polish goddess. :)

Opacity scale (1-5): 1.5

Use for Konad: Not a great stamping polish- too sheer.

Finish: Sheer, 3 coats

  1. Ew hundreds of babies...it might be okay if they were all polish bottle size. No, even then it would be gross...like how spiders have babies. *shudders*

But Naked is very pretty on you.
