Matte hot pink
This is a cute hot pink matte polish, similar in color to OPI La-Pazitively Hot Matte, but a tad lighter, with no shimmer. Total Barbie nails! Ring finger & pinky finger have one coat of Seche vite to show color shiny.
Opacity scale (1-5): 2.5
Use for Konad: It's opaque enough to stamp, but in order to get a full image you have to be super fast, because mattes dry so much quicker than normal polish.
Finish: Matte, 2-3 coats to be opaque, depending on how thickly you apply it
Matte lime green
This is one of my favorite of the three colors, but to be honest, it gave me the hardest application. I never managed to get it to perfectly even out, but I still love the color! Ring finger & pinky finger have one coat of Seche vite to show color shiny.

Matte turquoise with blue and purple shimmer
This is definitely the standout of this collection, I love the shimmer in it, it definitely gives it some depth. This one was by far the sheerest of the three though. Ring finger & pinky finger have one coat of Seche vite to show color shiny.

While I like mattes as a base color in some nail art in theory, I just am really uncomfortable with them on myself as a stand alone color. They remind me of how it looks if you paint your nails to late before bed and let the sheets imprint on them.
ReplyDeleteZoya Phoebe is SO pretty with a topcoat! The shimmer really stands out.
